About Our Flotilla

Flotilla 24-2 meets at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month (except December). We are located at 1 Birdseye Street Stratford, CT. (Next to the Boat Launch Ramp)  Visitors are always welcome.

Who We Are

Currently our Flotilla consists of 40 members.

Our Auxiliarists' actively patrol Long Island Sound and local area waterways. We regularly meet with the boating public in classrooms and at local marinas.

As a civilian, non-military component of the U.S. Coast Guard, we directly support all of the U.S. Coast Guard's missions except military and law enforcement actions.

In addition, we also serve side-by-side with active duty members of the Coast Guard at their stations such as Coast Guard Station New Haven.

To help make Long Island Sound and boating safer for all, Flotilla 24-2 is constantly looking for qualified members. United States citizens 17 years of age and older without a felony conviction may join the Auxiliary. Those interested can attend one of our meetings or contact us via  Image of eMail
